Starting Motherhood

Becoming a new mother is a special and beautiful experience, yet there are challenges in this life season that are unforeseen. The first few months of a child’s life create an inordinate amount of pressure compounded by lack of sleep, difficulty scheduling meals, stress from not knowing what comes next, partner conflict, and hormonal adjustment. Mothers can feel alone and uncertain about whether life will ever have the freedoms once enjoyed and guilt from feeling overwhelmed.
