About Dr. Moreno

Dr. Moreno is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in women’s wellbeing. She was born and raised in California and earned her Ph.D. in psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.  She currently resides in South Florida. Her expertise has been forged by her formal doctoral education, unique experiences as a woman, and years of professional knowledge including:

• Working with individuals and families encountering simple mental health issues to severe and complex trauma and excelled in tailoring their care to reach highly positive outcomes

• Specialized training in working with women’s mental health from internationally renowned organizations such as Postpartum International

• Contributor to television networks, such as Univision, as a psychological expert

• Years of experience running a residential mental health treatment program in South Florida

• Faculty member training postdoctoral residents that are now psychologists in our own South Florida community and throughout the country

• Provided expert testimony in hundreds of court hearings

• Presented to colleagues in nationally renowned conferences including the American Psychological Association

Dr. Moreno enjoys leading people towards discovering and attaining their best self by helping them match up who they are to who they aspire to be.  Her focus is to acknowledge and uncover inner strengths and use them to build on areas with challenges.  Dr. Moreno is married and is the proud mother of two handsome boys.
